In June 2008 I produced my first volume of over 400 toy theatre sheets. Since then my collection has grown and now it is time to share many of these new additions with my friends and fellow collectors around the world.
Inside this volume you will find several complete plays, numerous
additions to the plays already featured in volume one and of course
yet more orphaned sheets waiting for you to reunite them with sheets in your own collections.
This book contains plates by Green, Lloyd, Matthews, Park, Redington, Skelt, Webb, and of course Benjamin Pollock.
You can use this book as a reference guide to many of the toy theatre plays of the last two hundred years, as a practical source book to produce your own toy theatre productions or simply as a beautifully illustrated history of the scenery and costumes of the 19th century Theatre.
I hope you enjoy it and gain as much pleasure from these charming images of a by-gone age as I do.
I have been advised that the softback cover option suffers from the fact that this is a very thick book and so can be prone to the pages becoming loose, Consequently this option has been removed for that reason.
