This is a collection of poetry and images from award winning photographer and writer, Jason Guzman. Most of the poetry found in this volume is excerpted from his book Oasis, which is strictly a collection of poetry. Jason is a creative, contemporary, and versatile photographer who uses a combination of old and new techniques to create stunning images. He picked up his first camera, a Kodak instamatic, as a young boy and knew that he would be happy spending the rest of his life making photos. California born, Jason moved to Atlanta in the Spring of 1998. Finding the southland in the springtime such a remarkable place, he decided to stay and put down his own roots. Still, he was growing up and working odd and ordinary jobs until in 2005, at the Creative Circus, he turned his life-long dream of becoming a photographer into a reality. Now he pursues both his career as a commercial photographer and his passion as a fine artist with equal fervor. Jason is also a passionate outdoorsman with a deep love of nature. He spends a good deal of his free time hiking off into the wilderness and exploring the beauty our Earth has to offer.
