About the Creator
Over the years, I have been fortunate to have traveled in-and-around all seven continents. Most of my career has been spent as a communications technician and engineer working on the space shuttle and the space station programs. I grew up (or at least became as tall as I am now) in Wyoming, and have lived in Texas for most of the past 30 years. In 1996 I Wintered-over in McMurdo, Antarctica. I am also a private pilot and own my own plane, a 1947 Stinson 108-1. In August, 2008, I flew with Roger "Mzungu" Moore around parts of Africa in a Cessna 182. I was the pilot and he became a pretty good navigator. He made the photo of me. I am also a member of The Explorers Club. My wife Karoline and I have two daughters, Michelle and Cheri. Adding to our family are son-in-laws Keith & John, and two special & cute granddaughters, Camyrn and Cadie. I thank God for His many blessings and giving me the world and space as a gift. Space - I have 100% faith in God that I will go there in my lifetime.
