Born in 1920, graduate of Zumbrota High School, Zumbrota, MN and Iowa Sate University, Ames, IA. Life long resident of Zumbrota, MN. Enlisted in the Navy in summer of 1942 shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Honorably discharged from the Navy on December 15, 1945.
