Every minute on earth matters.
In the short time it will take you to read this text 250 babies have been born, 750,000 gallons of water have tumbled over the Niagara Falls and lightening has struck the earth 360 times.
On April 6th 2013 at 1:00 pm UTC+0, 140 photographersall over the globe synchronized to capture their surroundings with their cameras, all within the same minute. Through the images they captured we get a glimpse of the world with all its beauty and in many of its facets at this very moment?we see the earth in daylight, at sunset, at night and as the sun is rising, all within this One Minute, One Earth.
In this book you will find selected photos from our "One Minute on Earth" project and the stories behind the photos.
