We Call It 'Ruggles'
A Story of One Campmeeting of The Kentucky Conference
by NEKYGRS Historical Reprints
This 120-page book is a reprint of an unpublished manuscript compiled by Rev. Kenneth W. Jett in 1998 about the history of the Ruggles Campground, established in 1873 in Lewis County, Kentucky. It includes information from the 50th & 100 anniversary celebrations, and an entire set of newspaper articles from the 1882 campmeeting. Ruggles Campground will celebrate its 140th anniversary in July 2013.
