Thanks John,
I follow your stories as best I can. It's hard to tell whether you're living on the street or in a castle somewhere :-)
Either way... it's interesting reading!

I just finished reading of your 100 mile journey and frankly surprised to see that I am the first to comment. I have followed your trials over the past several months and been amazed at what God is doing through them. This blog however, met me at a point where I needed to hear the encouragement of your story not because I am in a particular spot of difficulty or loss but because I at times have the feeling that I have to make things happen in my walk with the Lord. I lead a small group with another brother and as we end our 18 months in the Book of John, we are looking to lead our group of men into a season of discipleship. We desire to give our men urge to pick up their crosses and follow Jesus. But in our humanity it is an exercise in frustration to us. Your story solidified in me as I just finished it what we concluded this morning after our group adjourned. It is the Holy Spirit who will dead us in making disciples, all I and my co-leader must do is start walking. Just like you and Daisy, we need to start walking and watch God is going to do!

Thank you for being willing and for sharing your story. Glad to hear a job is in your future but sad that we might be missing the richness of the stories you have been telling while in the valley.
