This book is a journey through a friend's garden, exploring the creativity of the gardener while finding surprising venues unseen by the gardener. The book shows relationships between plants in color, textures, and shapes. Hopefully the reader will revel in the intensity of the colors and the overall design of the garden.
I come from a line of English gardeners who brought their passion to America in the early 20th century. I have an MFA in painting and printmaking. As an artist I use the garden as a source of interest for both the canvas and the camera. I have written about historic gardens for the Historic Garden Review published in London and articles on New York State history for local publications. Books published include family genealogies, local history and garden histories.
