About the Book
Portland, Oregon’s Lincoln High School offers a diverse selection of unique and unusual classes. Two of these are “Reading the Media” and “Graphic Arts.” Each year these two classes collaborate to publish a book of writing and illustration. This is the forth such book.

I currently teach Graphic Arts at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in Central Oregon. After earning Bachelors degrees in both Art and Art Education I moved to Chicago, where I taught in public high schools for several years. Along with a friend, I also opened and ran an art gallery – 4Art Inc. – for two years.
