"Meditation is a process of slowing down, becoming still and being fully present with what is, here and now. It is a process of observation. Every unique texture and tone, the way light falls on an object and then changes from moment to moment is observed. Inner landscape and outer landscape are seen without holding on, without pushing away. The photographs collected here represent what I believe to be the photographers process of meditation, of absorbing what is seen in a sustained moment of light touching film. His process is slow and quiet, keeping pace with the stillness of the landscape and the wild things of the land.
Recently I've come to realize the importance of solitude, stillness, and a wide field of vision. I hope that in viewing these photographs, you too can enjoy a pause and a sense of spaciousness as wide as the Nebraska landscape."
