"At one point in our civilization's short history, someone invented a cart that was tied to a horse. Five minutes later, some-one started working on a cart with a bigger horse and a better paint job."

Hot rods and classic cars have become a way of life for thousands of people in Manitoba's cruising scene. In the first book from Sunday Cruise, we look at the cars, trucks, bikes, and people that populate this community of car junkies and gearheads. Everything from restored Model T's to a prototype Dodge Charger is covered in the book's 76 full-colour pages. It's the perfect Christmas gift for every car lover on your list!

About the Author

Jordan Morningstar
j_morningsta Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Jordan Morningstar was raised on a farm, where he drooled over Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines, dreaming of the day when he would have a trophy-winning ride of his own. Fifteen years, three 4-cylinder economy cars and a 10-speed bicycle later, he found his true "cruiser calling" behind the lens of his Nikon camera. Since the start of his pro photography career in 2005, Jordan has been drawn to photographing automobiles of every shape, size and pedigree. This would eventually lead to his first website,, and his books, "Class of 2009" and "Class of 2010."

Today, Jordan splits his time between writing for Canadian Hot Rods magazine, creating giant panoramic photos, and taking care of his infant son.
