I have been writing songs, stories and poetry for as long as I can remember, but recently decided to make poetry writing a regular thing. I don't do it with the intention of making money however, I just find the whole process of creation and completion extremely therapeutic.
I suffer with mental health issues that mean my emotions are very up and down and this is reflected in my work.
My earliest success writing poetry was something to do with a Vimto/Purple Ronnie limerick competition when I was very young. I don't remember the details, but I do recall doing well in the competition. I perhaps had my limerick published on Vimto cans.
I am pending publication in three poetry books. When they are on sale I'll put more information about them.
