This book is a celebration of the beauty in rural Indiana. The economic recession has taken its toll on Indiana farms and the simplicity of rural life, yet the beauty remains for those willing to seek it out.
Photography has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I shot all through high school, college, and worked as a photojournalist after earning a BA in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington. Since then I've created countless images using film and digital media. Then I discovered the iPhone in the summer of 2010! To say the iPhone has transformed how I see and think about photography would be an understatement. I no longer miss shots because I don't have my camera with me and I don't have to be tethered to the PC for hours of post-processing. Today, with all the apps available for the iPhone and the iPad, I can do that post-processing in the field, or the coffee shop, or virtually anywhere! And, social media has made sharing, teaching, and learning easier than it's ever been in the art's short history!
