This book is a partial collection of images and poems from the exhibit, Text & Texture, featuring the work of three artists and a writer. Photographer Vicki Reed invited painters Claudette Lee-Roseland and Deb Mortl to join her in the exploration of the written word and the texture it adds to our lives. Diverse in their mediums, the artists’ works are connected by a common thread that runs through the exhibit: the poetry of W.A. (Buz) Reed. Their vibrant and imaginative artwork is a stunning backdrop for Reed’s words and phrases. How each artist interpreted his words provides an interesting journey for the viewer.
