About the Book
A poetic and photographic look of the life of Detroit born author M.R. Bartlett
Born in 1983, I had a passion for writing and became a Journalist who traveled the Country as a writer until 2006, living in cities Chicago, Indiana and Iowa. My internship was with Jeff Gerrit at the Detroit Free Press and after completing my education at CMU, I worked for the Marion Chronicle and Tribune in Marion Indiana and the Indianola Record Herald and Tribune in Indianola Iowa. On November 30, 2013 I was ordained as a Reverend, following the footsteps of my late uncle Reverend Rodney Herbert. In addition to being an author, minister and mom, I'm the owner/sole-proprietor of Two Foxes Coffee Co. Of Detroit and Fox Food 4 Seniors. Also, a proud donator to; The Autism Society of Michigan, The Capuchin Soup Kitchen of Detroit, The Michigan Humane Society, The PanCan Action Network of Detroit, The Red Duffel Bag program to help children in Oakland Co. foster care system & Kickstarter in support of my friend Tempest Storm's documentary. I'm currently studying Addiction Counseling.
