This book is a collection of portraits and interviews with men living on the streets of Baltimore.
All profits from the sale of The Gentlemen of Baltimore are donated to Baltimore's Healthcare for the Homeless (www.hchmd.org).
My projects are born of curiosity, an attribute I attempt to cultivate regularly. I live in the Northeast, but hold a world view. I believe only in the capacity to pursue, not to satisfy. It is an approach to existence that requires constant attention--and it is an approach fueled by writing and photography. (As well as dog-walking, cooking, adventure, travel, reading, dish washing, and brushing my teeth. In other words, everything.) Thank you for your interest in my work and may your own pursuits find you curious like a child.
