A photo travel book in seven sections and 113 pages covering a trip from Hong Kong to Beijing. Brief, light commentary on the photos identifies the picture subjects, and points out significant activities related to the rapid development of China.
Originally enjoying combined hobbies of travel and photography in the film photography era, Hudson Smith abandoned his interests in the subject for over ten years. When digital photography came of age, he renewed his efforts in the photographic portion of his hobbies. Since then he has covered many of the scenic areas of the U.S., often concentrating in the western portion of the country. In the last several years, travels in other parts of the world have expanded his inventory of photographic experiences.
