These photographic images of Tuscany, Italy were taken in October of 2008. I had visited this area a decade earlier. I learned many things on this visit, as travelers will do. First, there is and always was more to see. Second, some of the same visions still impressed, not surprising when so much of this region is knock out gorgeous. Third, having a second chance allows a photographer to see a little farther, to look up a little higher, to go behind the facade and capture a more revealing image.

In this book I have attempted to review some favorite Tuscan towns, both from the large perspective or familiar, and then turn it around a bit and look a little closer.

Who knows what a third chance would bring.
