THE UNSEEN WORLD
This book is about "The Unseen World". A project that may have been born, without my knowledge, when I started looking through the eye of the camera when I was 14 years old, and it may last my whole life because it is part of who I am.
Wherever I go and specially when I walk through the cities with an open mind, reflected images come to me from everywhere: windows glasses, polished car surfaces, metal objects, and so on.
The non-existing images I capture with my camera through reflections may be a reminder that reality is an illusion, an abstract concept generated by our senses in each of our minds, so there are as many realities as people who perceive them.
Why my mind start looking for this distorted fragments of other realities every time I pick up my camera is still a mystery to me.
I always ended up wondering what is absolute real in this world anyway?
Since childhood I have the feeling of not belonging to any particular place, and maybe that´s the reason I became a traveler, an eternal immigrant. Born with an Argentine heart, I was overwhelmed by the US culture and ended up finding my soul in Brazil. Through the fascinating process of observing new cultures, I was drown by the kaleidoscopic interaction between men and his urban environment. The cities and their architecture, shapes, colors, symbols, patterns, reflections. My photographs are glimpses of a society, an instant in history, a portrait of a building, a reflection of human creation, a recreation of life and its possibilities.
