About the Book
Patsy Marshall Ryland was born on October 24, 1923 to Edward and Kathleen Ryland who resided in Richmond’s Bellevue Neighborhood. These memoirs are from the first twenty-five years of her life, before she married Jeremiah Jonathan Jewett and moved to the Sycamores in Midlothian, Virginia.
The stories are all original writings, taken from Patsy’s journals and assignments at the Life Long Learning Institute in Midlothian and classes at Westminster Canterbury. The text was transcribed, compiled and edited by several of Patsy’s grandchildren, with help from Patsy and her sister Tina.
