"The winds of grace are always blowing, but we must raise our sail." -Sri Ramakrishna.
In "Tilting Toward Chaos," part one of a larger work-in-progress, transition coach Nancy G. Shapiro shares a radical approach to befriending change, inviting the reader to pause on the quivering edge of inevitable transition and ask, "What is truly ending here? What is beginning, or opening? What new opportunity is being born right before my eyes?"
Rather than cowering in confusion or reacting in fear, she encourages the reader to be curious about change, to take courageous yet calm steps toward what feels unknown in the face of anxiety, stress, and doubt. For within the constantly shifting landscape of our days lie countless opportunities to re-imagine, re-create and renew the very fabric of our existence.
After years of writing poetry and leading writing workshops, Nancy G. Shapiro returned to college at age fifty-three. This intensely personal and pivotal experience led her to her current livelihood as a professional coach, writer, and advocate of calm in the face of change. Her work centers around sharing stories and tools that help people find a powerful, spirited calm where confusion, reaction, and habit once reigned. She works with coaching clients internationally, and is currently working on the companion e-book to "Tilting Toward Chaos," her first book and the first section of a larger work-in-progress. Above all, she is fascinated and awed by the resiliency of the human spirit. To learn more about Nancy and her work please visit her website: http://nancygshapiro.com
