Roger Minick's book CELL PEOPLE is a candid, insightful, sometimes humorous, photographic look at our twenty-four-seven love affair with the mobile phone. When looking at the people in Minick's images, one begins to believe that this device at the end of our hand, invariably clapped to our ear, has become an actual part of our anatomy...
Roger Minick has been photographing the American experience for nearly half a century. His photographs are included in permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the J Paul Getty Museum, George Eastman House, and The Smithsonian. Two previous mainstream photographic books, published by Scrimshaw Press, include DELTA WEST and HILLS OF HOME. The books AMERICAN BIOGRAPHICS, SIGHTSEER, CELL PEOPLE, SEEN from TRAIN, and UNDOCUMENTED are published by Perambulation Press, a self-publishing venture founded by Roger Minick, specializing in fine quality limited edition books.
