The 8,087 mile journey that I embarked on to get to Project ET-507 in Fiche, Ethiopia took three planes, over 24 hours, one leap of faith, and a countless number of prayers. I traveled by plane, by car, and by foot to get there. The destination, however, was much more than just a place on a map. I had traveled to a place where the children always smiled. The sun was always bright, and the sky was always blue. Friendliness and servanthood were present among everyone, and God's handiwork was visible in all directions. During my stay in Ethiopia, I created a bond with Fiche so strong that every day I think about returning to it. I still live over 8,000 miles from Fiche, Ethiopia, but I've never been closer to it.
