About the Book
It's a book of pictures of doors. Most are taken in the hill country of Italy and a couple in Paris.
It's for me and my friends and relatives, especially those who were with me when I took the pictures.

I'm an architect working on large commercial projects. My sister out law has a wonderful apartment in Rome, literally a stones throw from the Pantheon. And also a sublime renovated stone farmhouse in Umbria. Her sister and I have visited a few times and hope to go back for much much more. Oh yeah, I worked for Hurricane Island Outward Bound School for many years before I decided to study architecture at UT in Austin, Texas. My son is in college at SMU. My partner is in charge of the president's office at DePaul University. My parents, both artists, live in Black Mountain, North Carolina. I like running, jumping, and standing still. And photography.
