About the Book
This book tells the story of a twin pregnancy that begins with a positive home pregnancy test and ends with a C-section delivery. The text comes from the author's journal and records the trials and tribulations of the pregnancy on a day to day basis. The author describes her early symptoms, her struggles with spotting, high blood pressure and reflux. She muses on being pregnant after the death of her mother, and discusses her excitement when she sees the ultrasound pictures of her little ones. She describes her difficulties working while pregnant and her final days on bedrest with mild pre-eclampsia. The book ends with a C-section birth, which although difficult, is accompanied by great joy as the babies are welcomed into the world!
