About the Book
Located on the eastern shore of Georgian Bay, Killbear Provincial Park contains a wide variety of geographic formations from rugged granite rocks to sandy beaches. The park also contains a diverse ecological system of forests and wetlands. This book provides a collection of images reflecting these various areas based on one photographer's camping experiences over numerous "invincible" summers.

About the Creator
Michael Mitchener
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Michael Mitchener is a Toronto-based photographer, canoeist, part-time painter and transit nerd living in the Leslieville neighbourhood. Self-taught, he's developed his artistic style and J-stroke by exploring Toronto's diverse neighbourhoods and Southern Ontario's waterways by foot, streetcar and canoe. His goal is to capture a spark of magic in the ordinary, connect with nature in and outside of the urban oasis, and better appreciate the subtle beauty and irony that surround us.
