Just as there is beauty in the aging of human organisms, this book of
photographs illustrates the beauty as seen in senescent flowers.
We all enjoy fresh cut flowers to decorate our lives and for their beauty.
We desire perfection in their colors and forms. We toss out the bouquet when
the flowers start to droop, change color or lose their petals. Yet it's at
this point that the flowers become individual characters and I begin to find
them interesting enough to capture their portraits.
