About the Book
Most of us probably think of Ethiopia as dry, brown and flat. But much of it isn't. It's becoming increasingly well known for its ancient churches, many hewn from solid rock, and often with brilliantly coloured murals. The author took a journey through this fascinating country late in 2013.
Like most of us, Graham Meale spent a good deal of his life hostage to a mortgage. In 2004, at age 47, he realised that there was more to life, got his first passport and began working hard to fill it up. His goal is to see every nation on Earth that doesn’t have a McDonalds.
