As I travel around for work, pleasure or everyday life I am always framing the view in my mind. Simple trees, mountain views, dusk or first light often get my photographic muses going. The world around me is so beautiful that it just begs to be photographed capturing the moment and shared.

About the Author

Gail Jones
gannej Beaverlodge, Alberta, Canada

A school bus driver (or a Juvenile Transportation Specialist, as she refers to herself) and married for 28 years with 2 grown boys, Gail lives on a ranch with her husband where they grain farm and raise about 120 head of cattle. Gail discovered her passion for photography after the birth of her oldest son in 1987, but started seriously pursuing it several years ago. Upgrading her camera, taking several courses, reading books and websites and practicing her skills have improved her results dramatically. Her favorite mediums are landscape and wildlife and when she's not capturing their cows and calves or the view and scenery on their homestead, Gail can often be found scouting the countryside for fresh scenery and inspiration and hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the local wildlife.
