This project is based in the night. All images were captured in my apartment between the hours 12 and 3 AM, always after a long day of school and work. Using a mini trampoline, an overhead projector, various found objects, extended shutter time and flash, I created images that capture the kind of unposed, chaotic beauty that comes from moments we don't have complete control over. These photographs mimic those taken at a party, yet have an air of solitude and intimacy that is not often found in a crowd. Caught mid-air, each pose has a sense of suspension and etherial weightlessness, but there is also an element of tension and physical strain present in the figure.
