About the Book
This is Vaibhav Tripathi's portrait of Bucharest and Brasov, two major cities of Romania. Situated only 166 kilometers apart, these two cities are strikingly different. The former is the largest city, the capital and represents everything that modern Romania wants to be while the latter is a quaint, quiet city with an idyllic charm; exhibiting a classical romantic image, associated with Romania. The contrast is easily evident from the photographs presented in this book, which together with detailed captions form a compelling photo narrative.
