Searching for the Nativity
My Search for the Nativity in Findlay, Ohio
by Margie Shoop
About the Book
It was December 2011 in Findlay, Ohio when I went out driving with my husband to look for nativity scenes in our town. I wondered what people saw who traveled on our main routes through town. Would they see any images of Christ's birth? Or would people only see penguins and snowmen?
This book describes why I was looking and has the 22 images I captured during that search.
I grew up in northwest Ohio. I attended the University of Findlay for my B.A. in Fine Art and an MBA in Organizational Leadership. Horses and photography are my passion. I am married and we own Baron's Hazey Shade, my muse in many equine art images. I ride trail and work on dressage. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II and a Mark III. I have images in collections across the United States. I participate in exhibits and shows locally and internationally.
