by Andrew McDonough
The elements of photographic exposure with illustrations and common sense descriptions of the interaction of aperture, shutter speed, depth of field and ISO. Illustrations showing examples of each element from the author's personal images from all over the world.
I've been a teacher and researcher at New York University for nearly 30 years. I'm planning to make a career change shortly in photography. I currently sell images on stock sites and custom framed images. I enjoy and learn a great deal from quided workshops that I try to attend once or twice each year. I also make solo trips to areas of interest or to places I've been in the past. I am expecially interested in the southwest US. I'd like to serve as a workshop leader eventually. I have a state-of-the-art digital workshop and handle the entire picture process from image capture to post-production printing.
