You will not find anything particularly profound in this book regarding the language of wolves.
Instead, we present soundbites from the broad range of personalities residing at W.O.L.F. Sanctuary in Bellvue, Colorado. Since 1995 the Sanctuary has been home to over 100 wolves and wolf-dogs, each bringing its unique and wonderful life to share with the staff and volunteers. It is almost impossible to look into their eyes and not be posessed by the desire to read their minds, know their thoughts; to communicate with them verbally, even as we (all and always) put our own words into their mouths.
Here then are the wolves of W.O.L.F. (2013), as interpreted by members of the staff. Feel free to provide your own captions, if you are so posessed as we have been...
W.O.L.F. is a 501( c )3 non-profit Sanctuary located in the foothills of Northern Colorado, dedicated to improving the quality of life for wolves and wolf dogs through rescue, sanctuary and education.
