This book is visually beautiful -- much of the story is conveyed by lovely paintings and photographs! But the text is also very effective -- simple, direct language that is neither patronizing nor cutesy. Wonderful peek into the determined creativity of a creature some people assume is not bright enough to do much besides sit around and look cute. Expect this to be useful for teaching children in the eight to ten age range . But could also see it being of interest to adults. Rabbit rescue groups could also find it useful, perhaps for fund raising programs like silent auction?
