About the Book
The way in which nature designs the butterfly invites imitation. In this project, selected portions of images borrowed from other artist’s work is abstracted and made into varied butterfly shapes. These shapes serve as raw design material to further distort, fit, and integrate into a standard iconic butterfly silhouette shape. The results are shown for 49 butterfly silhouettes.
