This collection explores perspectives on life, love, pain, complex emotion and spirituality. The title derives from the Badjau people located in Southeast Asia. This group of 'sea gypsies' have built their complete livelihood on the ocean, while rarely visiting land. I correlate the Badjau lifestyle with my personal outlook on life; seeing this world beyond its external layer while living a different lifestyle.
