In 1995, at the age of 83, Warren W. DeLapp, bought a word processor, taught himself to use it, and produced a collection of anecdotes of his early years growing up in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, and Guatemala. Included are records of his paternal and maternal ancestors, accounts of his upbringing, schooling up through his PhD. in engineering, and early job experiences. His son, John DeLapp, added his own account of Warren's later years to complete Warren's life story which included a two-year assignment in Pakistan.
