About the Book
Windows have always been a natural subject for my camera. I often find my lens being drawn to the abstract geometric patterns and shapes windows create on textured walls of adobe, wood and metal. In preparing images for this book, I became aware that photographs, much like windows, offer a duality of vision. While windows and photographs both provide a perspective toward seeing a palpable visual world, perhaps more interesting are the discoveries made through the contemplation of things behind and beyond the glass. This book is a recording of such reveries, those moments of reflection and thought that enliven our everyday world.
