About the Book
For more than seven years, Gary from Evanston called into the "Who Ya' Crappin'?" segment of the Boers and Bernstein Show on Sportsradio 670 The Score. Each call began with Gary's signature, "Hi, guys!" Most often, this greeting was followed by an obscure reference to Bonanza or to Youppi, the mascot of Gary's beloved Expos. Always, Gary took to task the erroneous words or missteps of public figures and institutions, including journalists, sports-casters, athletes, coaches, film critics, Hollywood stars, conservatives, liberals, Harry Potter, PETA, a zoo, and even himself. Gary carefully crafted each of his 'craps', handwriting and editing early drafts before calling the show. His last 'crap' was never read. At the time of his premature death in July 2013, Gary had written over 400 'craps'; they are complied herein to honor our favorite King of Crap: Gary from Evanston!
