A look at modern day England (well, the South East of England) from a less than glamorous angle.
London based photographer with studio facilities and extensive digital and film capabilities. I grew up with photography. My father was a keen amateur, stuck in a Civil Service job. The fridge was constantly stocked with film, and empty 35mm film spools hung suspended by pipe cleaners from the shower rails. Every house we lived in had a darkroom; he taught me to print black and white by the time I was twelve. I can’t remember not taking photographs. I specialise in photographing people; I am regularly commissioned to take people's portraits but I also love just photographing people in their natural environments. So I have put together several portfolios from different parts of the world, where people (or lack of them) are central to the scene. Plus a portfolio of landscape photographs, a few still lives (I have studio and lighting facilities in my home) and lastly some cars. I hope you enjoy the work
