About the Book
This book contains a collection of images taken over a ten year period from 2003 to 2013. While there are repeating themes (streetcars, beaches, trees, etc), there is no overall rhyme or reason to the selection other than these are the photographs that struck a chord with me. I hope you find a favourite amongst the group. Cheers.

About the Creator
Michael Mitchener
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Michael Mitchener is a Toronto-based photographer, canoeist, part-time painter and transit nerd living in the Leslieville neighbourhood. Self-taught, he's developed his artistic style and J-stroke by exploring Toronto's diverse neighbourhoods and Southern Ontario's waterways by foot, streetcar and canoe. His goal is to capture a spark of magic in the ordinary, connect with nature in and outside of the urban oasis, and better appreciate the subtle beauty and irony that surround us.
