Grandma Helen loves her grandchildren Christopher, Caitlin, Matthew and Catherine very much, but don't they cause her trouble!
Read all about Grandma Helen's adventures in Inga McCann's playful and charming story-book, cleverly depicted through Katherine Heubeck's witty illustrations.
Grandma Helen's Wednesday Teas contains the short children's stories Grandma Helen and the Sneaky Vegetables, and Grandma Helen and the Christmas Decorations.
Inga McCann lives with her husband Paul, daughter Caitlin, and son Christopher in Hartlepool. Inga studied Fashion Design at Newcastle Polytechnic, and worked for several years as a knitwear designer. She loves local history and is a member of local Hartlepool choir, 'Mum's the Word'. 'Grandma Helen's Wednesday Teas' takes place when Matthew was 14, Christopher was 13, Catherine was 12 and Caitlin was 7. After Grandma Helen relayed the events of the Sneaky Vegetables and the Christmas Decorations, Inga decided they were perfect for children's stories. They were then adapted into this book by Christopher McCann, and Rebecca Harrison.
