Photographer Erin Douglas, decided to take her first international trip to a place that had been on her mind for some time. Although she had been thinking about it, it was on a whim, 2 weeks before her trip that she booked the flight and made arrangements. She would be traveling alone. She would visit family she had never met and travel around the vast country alone without a clue in the world. There to take it all in and experience whatever comes her way. An experience indeed, she was captivated by the locals, amazed by the sunsets, bitten by mosquitos like never before, and found herself in adventures she would never be able to recreate. A book that collected some of her experiences was a must in her eyes. A new found love for traveling and photography together was born.
