Color Version of my Black and White book
This book includes stunning photographs of Italian cathedrals, churches, chapels and cemeteries from the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque period. Unique architecture,perspectives shadows and light tell pictorial stories of romantic decay, poetic death, lost time and enduring love. All themes are explored through beautiful color 12” X 12” photographs that capture the image from the soul to the snapshot to the finished film.
Georgetta graduated from the School of Visual Arts and Fordham University with degrees in science, education and Fine Arts. She is a professional artist, professor, author and international travel guide. She is the founder and director of the ART - POLI Painting On Location International program, with art studio, art history, creative writing, Italian language, photography, culinary and music classes, offered in the USA and Europe. She currently teaches art in Seattle and Europe. Her paintings have been exhibited worldwide and at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; She is internationally represented by the Saatchi Gallery, other collections are in the Muse Foundation in NYC. Her works are on file at The Women Museum of Arts. Her Renaissance style paintings are in Basilicas in Florence and Venice, Italy. To date, Georgetta is writing her 11th book and opening another program in Europe. She just released her own line of acrylic and watercolor paints.
