"We photographers deal in things that are continously vanishing, and when they have vanished, there is no contrivance on earth that can bring them back again. We cannot develop and print a memory."
--Henri Cartier-Bresson

I cannot separate my life from my photographs. They are one and the same, a visual diary of love and annihilation.
Sentimentality, it's a catalyst of emotions that drive me to "freeze" time, using a camera. If I was a sculptor I would have etched thousands of faces onto cliff walls.

When I look at photographs of my past I am constantly brought back to those moments that cool Autumn breeze brushed through the Oakland Hills with the passing of the sun, grabbing her arm in my New York apartment as she finished her frantic fingers for fun, sped up memories of the small army of friends at POW! on Market Street gazing at the seemingly eternal moment of the night with deep waves of vinyl pouring through the speakers.

All these moments have disappeared...but they are not gone. They have been framed in time, desire, and photography.

Wow. I love your work.
Although some of the subject matter in the photos doesnt fit with others, I still love it as i believe not all photography has to flow, because not everything flows in life does it? and so this kinda shows it, as the photos have captured memories of your life, which is one of the greatest things to capture. :)
