About the Book
Staying in Penn State for the whole thanksgiving break, I came out with an idea of making this collection of photography about the loneliness of Penn State University without the students. Inspired by Mimmo Judice’s book, Visible City, I came out with an idea of a book that I named, Penn State without You. Well-organized University town, Penn State has become lively with the attendance of their happening and energetic students. Accommodate approximately 47,000 students from all over the world; Penn State has become one of the biggest universities in United States. But without their students, Penn State has become a very silent and mundane place. As everyone left Penn State for thanksgiving break, back to their respective hometown, the liveliness of Penn State disappeared. Although the large attractive building kept intact to its ground, it was never the same as the present of its students. Here, I dedicate this book to Penn State students as a remembrance for their contribution in making Penn State a great place to be.
