Preface:

This book contains photographs of Fans that were found waiting to watch Marilyn Manson perform during the 2012 & 2013 American Tours. The following photographs were taken on a 4x5 Field Camera, Nikon DSLR and my Apple 4S Cell Phone.

It is a gift.

I began this project wanting to give something back to someone who has inspired me for most of my life.
Someone who is relentless in his own quest for creative freedom and expression…Marilyn Manson.

This project was the hardest but most wonderful experience of my life.
I don't even know how to tell you just where the story begins and at this moment there isn't even an ending.
What I can tell you is that it's full of laughter and fun, tears and frowns, heartache and love, lust and lies, and that it was the time of our lives.

The title comes from the song 'Hey, Cruel World, from the Born Villain album. When I heard him sing…'I am among no one'…it all made sense. The Faces of No One, because that is what we are. I have learned that the hardest part about being no one is not being no one at all, it is being no one even after you have been seen.

This project took me from the east coast to the west coast and back again a few times. I met so many wonderful people. I slept in a ton of parking lots, scary motels, and a few fancy ones too. From dislocated elbows, to hotel blow dyers that come with hair, to finding confetti where confetti should not be, and to driving thousands of miles for the best two hours of your life almost everyday…it was a dream come true.

So Thank You Marilyn for being you. It allows people like me to draw courage and inspiration to do unbelievable things. Without you, so much would be missing in my life…like all the people I have come to love and all the places that are now burnt in my mind…because of you I followed my heart and had an unimaginable adventure.
