Water is nomadic, moving from earth to sky and back again in myriad ways. The author/photographer bids you join the journey and listen to the ancient song of waters.
I am a complete leaf fanatic. Growing up in Tennessee and Missouri, there were plenty of opportunities to wander in the woods and play in the leaves. It wasn't until I moved to Texas that the obsession with foliage really kicked in.....longing for that which was now in slim supply, autumnally speaking. I came to photography in my thirties and felt like it was the missing piece found at last. I was amazed to discover that my father had a darkroom as a young man, and my maternal grandfather was a photographer in World War I. It was in the genes. What a glorious thing to have woven into your fabric!
