About the Book
This book documents a new body of work of Denver artist Sabin Aell. She was inspired for the series during time she spent around a lake in Austria where she was born. For this work Aell layered translucent polyethylene film into resin which included pigment prints with shadows of floral arrangements. The layers of resin create a subtle three dimensional-reality and reveal themselves as highly detailed work which becomes more obvious the closer you look. Aell's work explores nature with deep respect for its spiritual qualities and invites you to share an mystical experience.
